Course overview

All plants have a collection of piping and instrumentation drawings or PaIDs. These drawings show how components connect and how the process flows through the system. PaIDs also show the locations of instrument and control equipment relative to components in the process control path. The PaID Basics training course provides the skills necessary to read a PaID. It identifies symbols and function labels and describes how components are related. Reading a PaID is part of the Prints and Drawings training series.
