Course overview
Machines make production faster and more efficient—but every moving part carries risk. This course examines risks associated with point of operation, power transmission devices, and use of fixed, interlocked, and adjustable guards. Through understanding these risks and exploring how to safely inspect, maintain, and shutdown equipment, learners will develop the habits that keep workplaces compliant and workers protected from dangerous motion.
