Course overview

Ladders present unique opportunities for unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Employees who use ladders must be trained in proper selection, inspection, use, and storage of this equipment. Improper ladder use causes most workplace accidents. The Ladder Safety training course identifies the specifications of several different ladder types. It explains how to adhere to standard safety precautions for ladder use, maintenance, and storage. This lesson satisfies the requirements for OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.30(b)(1) through (4)(c). Ladder Safety is part of the Worksite Safety training series.
