Course overview
To ensure workers' safety, all mechanical and electrical powered machinery must be secured and labeled to prevent inadvertent powering during repairs, installation, or maintenance. The Lockout/Tagout Safety Program explains the necessity of a lockout/tagout program and common procedures. It describes the importance of adhering to lockout/tagout safety procedures. This lesson satisfies the training requirements for OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.147.
