Course overview

Working outdoors can expose you to a wide variety of hazards, including interactions with various animals. Some animals, like dogs or cats, might just be house pets, while other animals may be wild. No matter what type of animal you come across on the worksite, it is important to not interact with it in a way that will endanger the animal or cause it to strike. When learners have completed this course, they should be able to identify the hazards and preventive measures to take around mammals, insects, arachnids, and snakes.
