California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

Learning objectives

Course overview

If you operate a large company in retail sales or manufacturing that does business in the state of California, you may be subject to the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (or CTSCA). This is a law designed to help the public understand where the products they buy come from. It is especially focused on helping to get rid of human trafficking and modern slavery within product supply chains. As a company, you want to fight against these horrible practices, too. And part of that involves informing the public of where your products come from, how they're made, and how they're distributed. That's what the CTSCA will require you to disclose. So, in this course, we'll figure out if this act applies to your company, and if so, how you can comply with it.
