A clutch is a power transmission device allowing the engagement and disengagement of a powered component (driving device) from another component (driven device). The Clutches online training course discusses the three main types of clutches in industrial applications. It explains the purpose of clutches and identifies the operating principles of common industrial clutch design. This course is part of the Gear Maintenance training series.
