This lesson provides an awareness of the hazards posed by falling, falling objects, and unguarded openings, and the protections provided by fall restraint, fall arrest and work positioning systems. It also covers basic design and safe use requirements of a personal fall arrest system, as well as how to properly select and connect to a system.
