Course overview
Falls are one of the leading causes of death in the workplace, but can be prevented by using fall protection, safe work practices, and personal protective equipment. Fall protection systems can include passive protection, such as hole covers and guardrails and active fall protection, such as personal fall arrest systems. When learners have completed this course, they should be able to recognize fall hazards on working surfaces. This course addresses OSHA's Fall Protection regulations for General Industry.
