Hazardous Waste Management: Different Wastes Under RCRA (SNP-404.2)
Learning objectives
- Recognize the different wastes under RCRA
Course overview
Many workplaces and facilities generate hazardous waste. In 1976, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) enacted the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The purpose of RCRA and the amendments that have been added to it since 1976, is to help reduce the negative impact waste has on people and the environment. When learners have completed this course, they should be able to recognize the different wastes under RCRA. This microlearning course addresses a specific aspect of a broader training topic. For a more complete training experience, see HZW-1 Hazardous Waste Management. This microlearning course is available in English and Spanish.
