Hazmat 10: Hazmat Transportation Security Awareness (HMT-10.2)

This course is intended for workers who, during the execution of any job duties, are required to transport hazardous materials regulated by the United States Department of Transportation. After successfully completing this course, learners will display an understanding of the key concepts relating to security awareness, security risks associated with HAZMAT transportation, and required and recommended methods for enhancing HAZMAT transportation security. This course is designed to meet the requirements outlined in the Hazardous Materials Regulations, or HMR, specifically with 49 CFR 172.800. This course fulfills the awareness level training requirements for transporters of HAZMAT. More in-depth training is required on company specific policies and procedures. This course is offered in English and Spanish. This course references 49 CFR Parts 107 and 171-185, the Hazardous Materials Regulations.
