Course overview
Hazardous substances can appear during routine work — in a leaking valve, an unmarked drum, or an unexpected chemical odor. HAZWOPER, OSHA’s standard 29 CFR 1910.120, establishes clear expectations for training, preparedness, and safe response when hazardous substances are involved. Workers who understand the standard’s scope and their place within it make better decisions when conditions change fast.
