Incident Investigation: Investigation Steps (SNP-169.2)

Incident Investigation: Investigation Steps (SNP-169.2)

Learning objectives

  • Identify general steps of an incident investigation

Course overview

In a perfect world, there would be no workplace accidents. Unfortunately in the real world injuries, property damage, work disruption and near miss incidents will happen from time to time. When they do, it is important to have a procedure in place to determine what happened, how and why it happened, and how to prevent it from happening again. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to identify general steps of an incident investigation. This microlearning course addresses a specific aspect of a broader training topic. For a more complete training experience, see INV-1.2 Incident Investigation. This microlearning course is available in English and Spanish.
