Conveyor belts are the primary method of material movement at many mine sites. Using three stories from miners who survived being caught in a conveyor, this video illustrates the risks of working with conveyors and describes how these risks can be reduced by following the safe work practices of machine guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and best practice maintenance programs.
