Oil rigs have been around in some form or another for decades, but all of the various machines and pieces of equipment can be hazardous, particularly to new rig workers. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to identify basic terminology and safety programs on oil and gas sites. This microlearning course is a small part of a broader topic. For a more complete training experience, see OGS-18.2 Oil Rig Safety.
