Course overview
A personal protection program protects employees by ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) is used whenever necessary. It assures PPE is maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition. The Personal Protective Equipment for Construction Part 1 training course describes the hierarchy of control for reducing risk and avoiding injury, illness, and death by properly selecting, using, and maintaining PPE. This course is part of the Construction Safety training series.
