Course overview
Pressure washers use high-pressure water with or without detergent to clean a variety of surfaces including building exteriors, parking lots, sidewalks, vehicles, and other equipment. The use of pressure washers in residential settings may create a false sense of safety for workers, and that can lead to property damage and injuries. When using a pressure washer, it is important to take the appropriate precautions. After completing this course, workers should be able to identify different types of pressure washers and their hazards. They should also be able to identify methods of controlling hazards. Finally, they should be able to identify safe operation and maintenance of pressure washers.
