Problem Solving: 05. Evaluate and Select Solutions

Learning objectives
- Recognize and define the essential steps in the problem-solving process: Defining, analyzing, generating solutions, selecting a solution, implementing a solution, and reviewing the results.
- Apply each step of the problem-solving process to real-world scenarios while leveraging a variety of problem-solving tools. (such as 5 whys, decision matrices, SWOT analysis, brainstorming, etc)
- Evaluate and reflect on effectiveness of problem-solving strategies in their own work.
Course overview
Now that you have a list of solutions, it's time to narrow down those solutions to the one that you will implement. In order to do that, we must determine the solution that is most effective to solve the specific problem you are focusing on.
