Stormwater Pollution: Advanced Best Management Practices (SNP-181.2)

Learning objectives

  • Identify some advanced best-management practices related to stormwater pollution prevention

Course overview

Stormwater pollution is a concern at virtually all facilities. For industrial facilities who can be required to hold National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, or NPDES, permits, it is critical that all employees understand the consequences of stormwater pollution. When employees have completed this course, they should be able to identify some advanced best-management practices related to stormwater pollution prevention. This microlearning course covers a small part of a broader topic. For a more complete training experience, see STW-2.2 Stormwater Pollution Prevention for Industrial Operations. This microlearning course is available in English and Spanish.

The individuals involved in the development and promotion of this course do not receive any compensation or financial benefits outside of their regular employment for their work on this course.
