Course overview
In 1991, the United States Congress passed the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act. The act, enforced by the many agencies of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), is the reason why your company is required to have a drug and alcohol-testing program. It's also the reason for this video and any other alcohol training opportunities you've likely received. The DOT requires that all employees receive substance training. Company management is responsible for providing this education at no cost to their employees.
