Learning objectives

Course overview

In this lesson, you will learn what a telescopic handler (telehandler) is, how it is different from other forklifts, and how to recognize common telehandler hazards. You will also learn about pre-work precautions and safe operating techniques. This standalone telehandler safety lesson requires no prerequisites and is intended to supplement but not replace powered industrial truck (PIT) or forklift training requirements.
