Course overview

New workers are at a greatly increased risk of injury, and temporary workers are often "new" workers multiple times a year. In 2013, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, launched the Temporary Worker Initiative, or TWI, to help prevent work-related injuries and illnesses among temporary workers. This course is designed to help temporary workers and their employers identify the requirements of the TWI and common safety concerns that temporary workers need to be aware of.

The individuals involved in the development and promotion of this course do not receive any compensation or financial benefits outside of their regular employment for their work on this course.
