  • Recognize where to position yourself for optimum safety, how to prepare for and respond to hazards, and how to stop, slow, or allow traffic to proceed appropriately
  • Recognize the types of tapers that are used in a traffic control zone

Course overview

In this lesson you will learn general guidelines for traffic control, including how to regulate traffic, flagger communication, proper positioning when flagging, and the ways to place signs when setting up a temporary traffic control zone.
