Brayden CPR Manikins
The Brayden manikin allows students to see the real point of CPR – getting the blood flowing to the brain and other vital organs. It has dual modes that help Instructors to structure CPR training to the individual student. Mode 1 supports teaching the basics of learning effective CPR, while Mode 2 perfects the student’s CPR technique for advanced learning.
Brayden CPR Manikin Features
Students will see the immediate effect their compression depth, speed and recoil have on the manikin as animated red LED lights respond to the quality of their technique. Three sets of lights give instant feedback:
Chest Compression Indicating Lights
Represent the volume of blood circulated due to the depth of the chest compressions.
Blood Circulation Indicating Lights
Represent the flow of blood from the heart towards the brain.
The speed of the blood flow varies according to the depth and speed of compressions, only fully animating when the depth is effective and compressions are at a rate of 100-120 per minute.
CPR Quality Indicating Lights
Indicate when blood flow is reaching the brain.
These lights will only animate when the depth and speed of the compressions are both correct.
Realistic Airflow
Head tilt and chin lift opens airways, with accurate oral and nasal passages and a realistic nose pinch.
Hygienic Ventilation
Air from Brayden’s disposable lungs is vented through the back of his head, ensuring students never come into contact with exhaled air – reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
Realistic Chest Rise and Latex-Free Skin
Anatomically correct chest that rises and falls realistically as air enters and leaves Brayden’s disposable lungs. Latex-free skin is easy to clean, and defibrillator pads are easy to remove.
