Did You Know?

Type Date vs. Calendar Selector

Did you know that we can enable a setting on the back end of your EHS account that allows your users to type in dates, in addition to using the calendar selector?

When the setting is enabled, "Open calendar" will show to the user, rather than the standard calendar icon. Users can immediately start typing the date into the date field, or if they prefer the calendar they can simply click “Open calendar” and select the date as they historically have in the EHS. This setting is WCAG-compliant.

This week is a perfect opportunity to review your workplace’s fire prevention policies and procedures, and employee training.

Fire safety isn’t just about knowing where the extinguisher is. It starts with recognizing hazards, understanding emergency procedures, and making sure employees know what to do before a fire occurs.
