Department of Labor Announces $12.7 Million in Funding Opportunities for Workplace Safety

Through the Susan Harwood Training Grant Program, the DOL has released grant funds to support employee safety, health training, and education. Grants fall into three categories: Targeted Topic Training, Training and Educational Materials Development, and Capacity Building.

The deadline is July 25, 2024, so check out the resources and apply to take your workplace health and safety training program to the next level.

Updated Courses

Cybersecurity: We’ve updated eight existing courses and added six additional courses on topics like malware, ransomware, social engineering, GDPR, DDoS attacks, and multiple courses to help employees learn regulations and enhance their own cybersecurity.

Basic First Aid: this new 40-minute course is a true hybrid with both video and interactive content containing supplemental materials and exams. We’ve also released a brief, overview version for refresher training. It is available as a multi-language package, allowing your employees to select the appropriate language upon launching the course. Languages in addition to English include Spanish, French, and many others.
