Upcoming Webinar: “OSHA's 300 Log - Easier with a Safety Management System”

The OSHA 300 log and its associated reporting forms are the required evil all employers love to hate. So how do you make it less painful? HSI’s Safety Management System (SMS).

If you could use a deeper understanding on OSHA regulations, and how automating and digitizing OSHA logs can save you time, please join us for the webinar on Wednesday, January 26 at 2 PM ET.

Chief Safety Officer, Jill James, and Product Manager, Sara Pajda will guide you through the ins and outs of the forms and help-aids available to determine recordability , as well as how HSI’s SMS Incident Management module can make it more manageable. We'll cover:

The 300 log and the 300A form is the record of recordable injuries and illnesses that occur on the job, and contains the department and job of the worker, a description of the injury or illness, and the number of lost days or restricted days that occurred as a result of the injury or illness. All of this needs to be summarized on the 300A form and posted by February 1 and/or submitted to OSHA by March 2 - it's a lot! Find out how we can help.

COVID-19 ETS Update

The Sixth Circuit Court ruled on December 17, 2021 and dissolved the stay of the order. OSHA then updated their COVID-19 webpage and stated they won't be issuing citations until 1/10/22 for non-compliance with the requirement and 2/9/22 for testing requirements, effectively extended the standard deadlines.

On Friday, January 7, the Supreme Court met and listened to oral arguments regarding OSHA COVID-19 mandates. The court was expected to issue action or decision before the January 10th deadline that would likely result in a brief administrative hold on the mandate. Stay tuned and make sure you’re doing what you can to make your workplace “COVID-safe”.
