Ethics in Government Contracting (ETH-1.2)

Learning objectives

  • Identify federal ethical requirements for contractors
  • Identify financial ethical concerns for contractors
  • Identify additional ethical concerns for contractors

Course overview

Business ethics is a complex subject and sometimes the line between what is ethical and what is not ethical is not immediately obvious. The Federal Government has ethical standards for its employees, and requires companies that contract with it to create similar codes of business ethics and conduct. This course is designed to help contracting employees recognize the basic ethical concerns addressed by these codes of ethics, and recognize some of the ethical concerns they may encounter and best practices for responding to them.
