Employees in the United States are protected by the Fair Labor Standards Act, or FLSA. This Act requires employers to pay a fair wage for hours worked, limits hours worked without overtime pay, and regulates children working. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to identify basic provisions of the FLSA, including exemptions and child labor provisions.
