Course overview

Employees in the United States are protected by the Fair Labor Standards Act, or FLSA. This Act requires employers to pay a fair wage for hours worked, limits hours worked without overtime pay, and regulates children working. This course is designed to help primarily employees, but could also be beneficial for supervisors and other middle management. The course will cover the basics of the FLSA, as well as regulations regarding minimum wage, maximum hours, child labor and the exemptions provided. This course is presented in both English and Vietnamese.
