Hand and power tools are part of everyday life. These tools help people perform tasks otherwise difficult or impossible. However, even simple tools can be hazardous and can cause severe injuries when used or maintained improperly. Special attention to hand and power tool safety is necessary to reduce or eliminate these hazards.
