Q & A: OSHA 300A Requirements

Q & A: OSHA 300A Requirements

Question: “I have 3 sites, one with 35 employees, one with 23, and one with 7 employees. Under the new 300A reporting requirements, will I need to report the rates for the <11employee sites?”

Answer: No. “Establishments with fewer than 20 employees at all times during the year do not have to routinely submit information electronically to OSHA.”

“The new requirement does not add to or change an employer's obligation to complete, retain, and certify injury and illness records. It only requires certain employers to electronically submit some of the information from these records to OSHA.”
