Course overview

Radiation sources can be found in a variety of occupational settings. Understanding the health risks of radiation and taking proper precautions to prevent exposure can help maintain a healthy work environment. The Radiation Awareness training series provides a basic overview of radiation. It also describes associated health risks commonly associated with radiation and identifies methods to protect yourself and others from exposure. Radiation Awareness is part of the Hazardous Materials Safety training series.
