Course overview
This lesson aims to equip you with the knowledge to stay safe in cold environments. By the end of this lesson, you'll understand the hazards of cold stress, how to recognize the signs and symptoms, and what steps to take to protect yourself. Although this lesson describes instances of immersion hypothermia (cold water exposure), it does not contain information on water rescue procedures.
