Course overview

Proper emergency planning and response are important elements of a health and safety program. They help minimize employee injury and exposure. Before performing hazardous waste operations, employers must develop and implement a written response plan to handle possible emergencies. The Emergency Procedures training course discusses the purpose and scope of an emergency response plan. It also explains the roles and responsibilities of those individuals responding to a hazardous materials release. Emergency Procedures is part of the HAZWOPER training series.
