Course overview
Fire hazards pose risks to workers in every industry, but construction sites are especially vulnerable to fires. This course is designed to help workers understand how to prevent fires in the work area, and what to do if a fire breaks out on a construction site. Learners should be able to recognize common fire hazards on construction sites and identify precautions and safeguards for fire prevention and protection. They should also be able to recognize firefighting equipment and procedures on construction sites, including requirements for fire brigades, and identify emergency procedures on construction sites.
