Course overview
Hearing loss is a major hazard in many workplaces. Approximately 30 million American workers are exposed to noise levels at their job that can damage their hearing, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that over 20,000 employees report occupationally-induced hearing loss every year. Learners who successfully complete this module should be able to identify how sound and noises can impact their hearing. This course is presented in English and Spanish.
