Course overview
Injury and illness prevention programs, commonly known as IIPPs but also referred to in some cases as I2P2s, are health and safety programs implemented by employers to prevent occupational illnesses and injuries. After completing this course, employees should be able to identify the basics of an IIPP, including the required sections on assigning responsibility, assessing workplace hazards, and investigating incidents, as well as information on understanding the IIPP sections on hazards, employee communication and training, and compliance methods. This course is geared towards California employees, as the IIPP is a CAL/OSHA requirement.
