- Locate and describe the major sections of an engineering drawing: main diagram, title block, revision block, notes and changes, legend, and grid
- Describe common drawing formats used in engineering drawings: single line, block, pictorial, isometric, assembly

When you complete this lesson, you will have the skills necessary to read a PID. You will be able to identify symbols and function labels, as well as describe how the components are related.
