Course overview
This lesson describes how employers and employees should work together to create and maintain a safe work environment. This includes an introduction to safe work authority, when and how it should be invoked, and what will happen after work stops. The lesson points out that each company will have specific expectations and practices for how their employees use stop work authority and encourages employees to work directly with their supervisors to learn more.
The individuals involved in the development and promotion of this course do not receive any compensation or financial benefits outside of their regular employment for their work on this course.
