Competency-Based Learning: Communicates Effectively
Competency-Based Learning: Communicates Effectively
Communicates Effectively is one of the 38 Korn Ferry competencies that HSI maps our video-based learning to in order to help solve the learning needs of today’s workplace. Being able to effectively communicate encourages the open expression of diverse ideas and opinions.
Effective communicators are skilled at communicating one-on-one and in small and large groups. They can actively listen and adjust their tone and message to their audience, whether to a diverse group or different position levels. This in turn builds solid relationships and strengthens the flow of information so employees can continually contribute to the success of the business. Soft skills training in this competency helps employees develop skills such as active listening, nonverbal communication, emotional intelligence, and many more.
