The latest OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard
OSHA has shared a news release on the emergency temporary standard regarding private companies with 100 or more employees requiring proof of vaccine or weekly COVID-19 testing.
Under this standard, covered employers must develop, implement and enforce a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy, unless they adopt a policy requiring employees to choose to either be vaccinated or undergo regular COVID-19 testing and wear a face covering at work.
New Course: Psychological Safety
Do you feel comfortable asking your coworkers for help, or disagreeing with your boss? What happens when someone makes a mistake? How often do people give and receive feedback? Each of these questions is related to your sense of psychological safety at work.
Psychological safety is the belief that you won’t be punished or humiliated for speaking up with ideas, questions, or concerns. In this program, we’ll talk about how organizations can adopt and cultivate this concept. We’ll discuss why it’s important and how lacking psychological safety can leave a negative impact on you as an employee.
ASHI, EMS Safety and MEDIC First Aid have come together as HSI
HSI is excited to announce that three of our brands, American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), EMS Safety, and MEDIC First Aid, are being transitioned into one, unified brand—HSI.
Bringing the three brands into one will allow us to give you even better CPR and first aid training programs. This will improve our Instructor and Training Center procedures and tools which translate into efficiencies for your certification training needs.
ASHI and MEDIC will continue to provide the same high-quality, cost-effective, and flexible CPR, AED, and first aid training programs under the HSI brand. They will also continue to allow instructors to combine their own skills with a range of certified resources, and provide complete training programs for instructors with or without medical experience.
This is just one more area where HSI can help provide a more complete suite of training and software solutions under one umbrella!
