HSI Highly Ranked in Independent Research Firm 2021 EHS Brand Perceptions Survey

HSI is in the Top 3 for brand awareness in this year’s Verdantix Global Corporate Survey on EHS Software Brand Recognition

The growth rate of HSI (Health & Safety Institute) as a provider in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) space has led to it being in the top three of most recognized brands, according to the recently released Global Corporate Survey on brand perception by independent consulting firm Verdantix. The survey of over 300 EHS professionals across the globe, most of them with company revenues greater than $1 billion, found that SAP, Enablon and HSI lead the pack.

In addition to strong brand recognition in the EHS space, HSI is high on the list of 32 vendors for being perceived as having “marketing-leading” or “strong” capabilities. And has the second lowest percentage of survey respondents who are “unaware of the firm.”

As noted by Verdantix, “HSI is in the top three for brand awareness, owing to its remote training deployment ability. HSI also acquired Donesafe in February 2020, to expand its offerings into safety management. According to this year’s global corporate survey (see Verdantix Global Corporate Survey 2021: EHS Budgets, Priorities And Tech Preferences), training emerged as the area with the second-biggest spend increase for EHS executives. Additionally, plans to utilize EHS document management, COVID-19 management and EHS training in some capacity were reported by more than 95% of firms for 2022, favoring HSI’s feature set.”

HSI has continued to grow over the last few years via new customer sales, existing customer solution expansion, and a series of acquisitions in the safety and compliance training, workplace development training, industrial skills training, and EHS software solutions areas making it one of the most expansive partners for a full suite of solutions available. About the Verdantix Survey:

This report helps strategy executives, chief marketing officers and business development directors at EHS software firms understand the strength of their brand, in terms of preference and brand awareness, from the perspective of 301 customers across 31 countries and 25 industries. The EHS professionals we interviewed represented firms of various sizes, with 74% of them having revenues greater than $1 billion. Firms included in the survey were weighted towards industries associated with higher EHS risk. Verdantix found that SAP, Enablon, Benchmark ESG and ProcessMAP led among the 32 vendors in brand preference. Verdantix additionally found pivots to ESG, product offerings, acquisitions and partnerships, and geographic recognition to be drivers for brand awareness.
